Barndog Productions

2024 – Present

Joining Barndog as their Website Technician, I have updated the businesses website to help better represent the range of event equipment and services they offer. While doing so, I used available analytical data to increase the SEO of the website to help gain more attention to parts of the business that while available were being under unitized by those that could benefit from them.

After seeing results from my efforts on the website, I was given the opportunity to help manage the organization’s social media accounts to create a second avenue for new customers to the business.

EduTutor

2022 – 2025

Starting as a website consultant in 2022 I was responsible for making sure EduTutor’s website was running smoothly and creating new pages as needed. Starting in late 2023 the website underwent a redesign. For this redesign, my part in it was mainly to provide accessibility and usability recommendations while also generating new pages with created page templates.

Besides working on the companies’ website, I also contributed to an edutainment video game with the intention to teach fundamental math skills to its players in an interesting way. But, this game has not been made public at this time.

QEXCA

2021 – Present

In the fall of 2021 I became the Website Coordinator of the Queen Elizabeth, Exhibition and West Haultain community association. In this role, I am responsible for site maintenance along with updating and creating new pages to reflect the changes of the community. My efforts within the larger Communications Team means I have to work with other volunteers to make sure new information is published on the website at the same time it’s posted on our social media pages.

Externally from the website, I am involved with the association’s community meeting to keep tabs on the on goings of the community to change or add new pages to the website based upon current or upcoming events.

Video Games

Coo Detat

2023

For my degree’s cap stone project my group and I created a video game with the games core mechanic being player focus balancing. In this game, the player is frequently presented with opportunities to change many parts of the game in a way that everyone playing after them will experience.

As the test lead for this game, I was tasked with making sure the end result of our efforts created a quality game that was worthy of putting our names behind.
